The hard drive is fixed to the top bracket as mentioned before. It is only fixed on this side, although that seems adequate. The picture here shows the drive too close to the tube. This way caused severe bowing of the screen image at the bottom.
We turned the drive the other way around, and moved it as far back as possible, which sorted the problem.
